Journal 6-Week 6
I find that the design of levels is full of tropes similar to the writing of film and TV scripts. In today's gaming world, there looks to be a proper space for all types of level design and naming convention. I Want to be the Guy is the best example of not only level naming convention, but how to design a game level. The levels are multi-purposeful as the level can indicate where the player is in the grand scheme of the world, its lore, and what the objective of the level is with relation to the game. It's great to know that a simple flowchart can be used for level design long with level scripting.
