This Game Design Document is for a completely different game.

Overview/Concept

A fighting game where the different characters of the roster are emotions. The player will go through various scenarios in a simulation style game until there are certain points where an emotion would be invoked. When an emotion needs to be invoked (the player needs to react to the situation) a fight sequence will be initiated and two emotions will fight in a classic fighting game style. The emotion that wins will then be chosen when returning to the simulation gameplay. 

Due to the roster being emotions, the selection of characters to fight with will be limited to eight:

Anger

Jealousy/Envy

Sadness/Being upset

Content/Satisfaction

Happiness/Joy

Depressed/Greater sadness

Melancholy

Apathy
